The estate on which the Ferme de la Rançonnière is located is made up of flower gardens maintained with passion to offer our guests a little corner of our beautiful Normandy countryside.
Denis, our Gardener, is a real artist who composes a real painting in each bed, each planter. The gardens are built to evolve with the seasons and suggest wonder with over 365 species of trees, plants and flowers.
The vegetation, skilfully mixed with the old stones of the various buildings, invites contemplation and daydreaming.
Our ambition is to make you travel simply by strolling through the aisles of the estate. The proximity of the sea gives the air a subtly iodized taste that will awaken your senses and allow you to recharge your batteries in depth.
Discover the farm animals
Several years after the departure of the poultry and the closure of the farm, a mini farm returns to La Rançonnière!
So eleven rabbits as naughty as they are mischievous and four pretty curious chickens share a large corner of greenery just for them.
They have the sweet names of Queen, Gipsy, Rainbow or even Chewing-gum!
Don't hesitate to pay them a little visit, they love to pretend to be the mascots of the place and will not fail to make young and old smile!
Relax on one of our terraces
La Rançonnière farm has several terraces open as soon as the weather becomes milder.
The two dining rooms, the Great Room and the Arcade room each have their own terrace, and thus offer you the possibility of having lunch or dinner on the terrace.
During the balmy summer mornings you can also enjoy having your breakfast outside, or even the rest of the year if you like to have your coffee in the fresh air.
The hotel bar also has its terrace, which opens directly onto a pretty wooded park and the wine press. You can enjoy relaxing in front of the fields, lulled by the scent of the fragrant rose bushes that line the paths.
