The grounds of La Rançonnière farm are comprised of lovingly tended flower gardens, offering our guests a glimpse of our beautiful Normandy countryside.
Our gardener is a true artist, composing a masterpiece in every flowerbed and planter. The gardens are designed to evolve with the seasons, inspiring wonder with over 365 species of trees, plants, and flowers.
The vegetation, artfully interwoven with the ancient stones of the various buildings, invites contemplation and reverie. Our aim is to transport you simply by strolling through the estate's pathways.
The proximity of the sea lends the air a subtly briny flavor that will awaken your senses and allow you to deeply recharge.
Discover the farm animals
Several years after the poultry left and the farm closed, a mini-farm has returned to La Rançonnière!
Seven mischievous and playful rabbits and three pretty, curious hens share a large green space all to themselves.
They answer to the sweet names of Queen, Gipsy, Rainbow, and Chewing-gum!
Don't hesitate to pay them a visit; they love pretending to be the mascots of the place and are sure to bring a smile to the faces of young and old alike!
Relax on one of our terraces
The Rançonnière farm has several terraces that open as soon as the weather becomes more clement.
Both restaurant rooms, the Grande Salle and the Arcade room, each have their own terrace, offering you the possibility of having lunch or dinner on the terrace.
During mild summer mornings you can also enjoy having breakfast outside, or even the rest of the year if you like to have your coffee in the cool air.
The hotel bar also has its own terrace, which overlooks a lovely wooded park and the wine press. You can relax facing the fields, soothed by the fragrance of the roses that line the paths.
