Normandy in the 10 better world golfic destinations
In the geographical sector near the Farm of Rançonnière, opportunities for leisures are numerous. The proximity of the English Channel make water sports be the queen discipline. For golf lovers, you cannot miss the golf courses. The nomination of Normandy, by more than 300 agents of international voyages gathered within "l'International Association of Golf Operators" turns;, like l'une of the 10 best world golfic destinations. Normandy has built through the years a solid and invaluable reputation recognized by all the golf players.
In this context, the superb Omaha Beach Golf Club (photo above) is one of the most important. Located at a few kilometers of the Farm of Rançonnière, this club is without a doubt one of most attractive in the Calvados region. Created in 1986, this golf course is exposed facing the sea, it overhangs the D-Day beaches. The three courses proposed (Sea, bocage and the Pond) ask for a minimum of skill because certain imposed difficulties are frightening. The quality of the fairways however make it possible to play under exceptional conditions considering that the Omaha Beach Club was classified among the first fifty French golf clubs.
IIn addition to Omaha Beach Golf Club, the department of the Calvados brings a certain richness to golfing installations as 12 different golfs are located in a relative proximity.
